Y2K / AI / ART
A mini art project exploring Y2K & futurism aesthetics, generated with Krea 1 - with tips, tricks, and prompts include
Honestly, it’s just us letting out our emotions and connecting random stuff in our heads in weird ways. Like, for someone from the CIS, it’s remembering building a snowman with a carrot nose or unwrapping those old Soviet candies. For an Italian, it’s grandma’s homemade ketchup or Something else.
[ And honestly, the weirder and more random the connection, the cooler and deeper the art feels. That’s what makes it hit different. ]

Yep, author’s also out here tryna figure out what the hell art is
I enjoy creating AI-generated art with a sense of human depth - the kind of pieces where you look into the eyes or the posture and see something truly human, something that makes you feel.
There’s something cinematic in how AI models compose bodies, light, and mood. You guide it and sometimes it surprises you. And those surprises become your aesthetic.
/*thoughts*/
1) Use real camera terms, it instantly levels up your prompt
Words like “35mm,” “ISO 100,” “shallow depth of field” give your generations that cinematic feel. It’s like the AI goes: “ohhh we’re doing a real photoshoot now?”
2) Don’t over-describe. Let the model imagine.
If you write a whole paragraph… the output usually turns into soup. Leave room for imagination, less is more.
Just give it strong concepts, clear vibes, and a bit of mystery.
3) Use framing cues: "shot from above," "tight angle on legs,” etc
Say things like: “tight angle on the hands,” “shot from above,” “close-up on lips,” “over-the-shoulder POV.”
These cues turn random generations into something that feels like a movie still or an editorial spread.
4) Always enhance, first gens are just raw shit
Switch a word, tweak the lighting, change the angle — and suddenly, boom - you get that fire image.
Think of it like sculpting.
