Unicorn Embassy
Brand Identity & Art Direction
Unicorn Embassy is an international design conference where independent creators, product designers, and creative directors come together to share practice. I developed the full visual identity — from the naming concept to the communication system.
The core idea: design as a sovereign territory. The "embassy" metaphor positions the conference as a neutral ground where different design cultures meet — not to compete, but to exchange. The unicorn is not fantasy, it is the rare specialist who exists at the intersection of craft and vision.
Visual system
The identity is built on a modular graphic language: a primary mark that scales from badge to billboard, a restricted typeface system, and a color palette anchored in ink black and signal green. Every application — from lanyards to stage backdrops — is derived from the same grid.
The communication strategy was built around speakers as protagonists. Portrait-led layouts, minimal text hierarchy, and a consistent motion language across digital placements made each announcement feel like an event in itself.
Deliverables included brand guidelines, print collateral, conference badge system, social media templates, stage and environment design directions, and a motion identity kit for the opening ceremony.
