Skaz po Krayu
Brand and Identity design for brand of premium handmade ceramics
Skaz po krayu is a brand of premium handmade ceramics, inspired by Russian culture and folk tales. The goal — to unite the contemporary and the traditional.
I took on the entire identity end-to-end: from strategy and mark to packaging, brand touchpoints and web. The key challenge was giving the brand a contemporary visual language while keeping deep cultural codes intact.

We found the metaphor that became the brand's entry point: "a window into a fairy tale." It works literally — each piece is a portal, an invitation to peer into another world.
The graphic mark is built from three swallows. Three — one of the key numbers in Russian culture: three heroes, three trials, three wishes. The swallow as a symbol of returning home and of awakening.
We created a legend for each vase, and built an entire visual world around it: characters, setting, story. All of it came to life in unique hand-drawn illustrations that live on packaging, in digital, and in brand communications.
We built a visual language in which the logo, patterns, illustrations, packaging, and animation work as a unified system and scale to any medium.
Two months after launch, the brand gained 24,000 followers, held two auctions with sales exceeding 1 million rubles each, entered public forums, and began collaborating with museums.
